Character NAME: Mukuro Rokudo
Canon & MEDIUM: Katekyo Hitman Reborn! ; anime
Canon PULL-POINT: Post anime
Character AGE: 15
Character ABILITIES:
Six Paths of Reincarnation
+Realm of Hell: Can create real illusions capable of entering the real world.
+Realm of Hungry Ghosts: Can use the skills of others when using their body.
+Realm of Beasts: Can summon and control deadly animals.
+Realm of Asura: Increases hand-to-hand combat skills.
+Realm of Humans: Increases battle aura greatly, requires stabbing his own eye so not often used.
+Realm of Heaven: Can posses another's body.
Vongola Mist ring: Allows the mist flames in Mukuro's body to take on a visible form, the stronger his resolve the stronger the flames become. The flames are used to open mist box weapons, or in his case to release the Mist Owl from it's ring.
Mist Owl ring: Formerly a box weapon that was turned into a ring so it could go to the past where box weapons weren't invented yet. It contains the Mist Owl named Mukurou. Because the owl was scratched by the trident prior, Mukuro has the ability to take control of the owl's body and use it for his own whenever he sees fit. With or without Mukuro, the owl can generate it's own illusions using the mist flames from it's body. The flames themselves can also enhance Mukuro's illusionary abilities.
+Cambio form: Deamon Spade's Devil Lens: It transforms into a set of three monocle lenses capable of analyzing enemy weak points and can see through illusions.

As well as being a highly skilled magician, Mukuro is also very adept at hand-to-hand combat as he prefers to mix magical and physical attacks when he fights. On top of that, he's highly perceptive and can see through almost any strategy. He also has the ability to dispel illusions cast by others.

Character HISTORY: Here, anime ends after the Future Final Battle arc

Character PERSONALITY: Upon first glance Mukuro can seem like an average middle school boy, playful with a pleasant tone and almost always with a smile on his face. And if he has reason to it's no problem at all for him to keep up that appearance if it can somehow benefit him or his motives. Because his strongest trait of all is deception. Nothing is as it appears with Mukuro, be it the surface value of his appearance to his words and most obviously to his illusions themselves. One of his favorite sayings expresses this very well, about the truth hidden in lies and lies hidden in truth. It's near impossible for someone to tell when he's being honest and when he's playing with them unless someone knows him very well as he enjoys mixing up meanings behind his words and actions. In this aspect he can appear to be contradicting at times, saying one thing but acting a completely different way, when in reality he says and does exactly what he means even if others don't see it that way. In some cases though he's deliberately deceitful to others in order to hide his own weaknesses, as when he claims to his two friends Ken and Chikusa as they're escaping from prison that he wants to split up because they're holding him down and he can escape easier on his own. When in reality his plan had been to sacrifice himself being caught so that they would at least be able to go free. He does the same thing any time he makes a kind act, having to mask it in arrogance and selfishness to avoid others from being able to pick up on any weaknesses he may have.

Despite appearances and what he may say, Mukuro is very loyal to the small handful of people he actually cares about and will do anything in his power to protect them. Namely the Kokuyo gang consisting of Ken, Chikusa, MM, Chrome and Fran. He's their leader and of course it falls on him to make sure they're protected at any cost. Though usually not open about his desire to keep them safe, extreme circumstances are the rare occasions where he admits to being concerned about their welfare. If someone manages to get that close to him, he can be very selfless and would rather put himself in harms way or go against his own wishes to protect them. Such as the case when escaping from prison with Ken and Chikusa, and later even going as far as allowing himself to be blackmailed into joining a mafia family that he despised in order to assure they would never be caught by the Vendice again. Especially where Chrome is concerned, Mukuro would never do anything to allow her to be harmed despite the fact that he claims he's only using her for his own benefit. No matter what he's doing, the moment Chrome's body is weakened he backs off to allow her time to rest and goes as far as asking others to take care of her for him. And even when it concerns those he claims to dislike, when it comes to the greater good of survival for himself and those he cares for he's willing to cooperate.

And even when his rivals are considered, specifically Tsuna and Hibari, Mukuro likes to play with them in his own special way as he has a connection to both that can't be broken. With Hibari, he respects his strength and honestly enjoys indulging himself with fighting him even though they're usually meant to be fights to the death since Hibari has an undying urge to defeat him at all costs. Yet despite this fact the two of them can work together as a dangerous and near unbeatable team moving in perfect sync if the need is dire enough. He even goes out of his way to taunt and tease Hibari for his own amusement, on several occasions he'll take over Chrome's body if Hibari is around just long enough for Hibari to catch a passing glimpse of him and the moment Hibari looks back to double check Mukuro's already put Chrome back in control. With Tsuna things are a bit more complicated as his mind somehow became linked to Tsuna's, allowing him to see Mukuro's memories and even allowing them to share dreams on occasion. While Mukuro claims that one day he will still go through with his plan to take over Tsuna's body, he doesn't hesitate to help him whenever Tsuna asks for his assistance in something important. He respects Tsuna for his strength and is grateful for him for taking care of Chrome when he's unable to and eventually even has no problems admitting that fact.

Mukuro likes to keep up appearances, always trying to look calm and collected in any situation so as to seem to be in total control of a situation. He usually is if things go his way, and even in the cases that they don't he tries to make it appear that way unless it becomes painfully obvious that he's going to lose. On the occasion that happens, he lets his emotions show more freely though is prone to fighting that much harder because it's no longer a game. And everything is usually a game to him, he enjoys playing with his opponents minds and seeing how much he can bend and twist them before defeating them. He can have a temper, but he's usually good at keeping it under wraps unless he's around friends or in a fight. Whenever anyone (usually Ken or Fran) calls him pineapple head he tends to react with annoyance and more often than not violence to get them to either shut up or take it back.

He has a strong sense of determination as well, always willing to see a plan through to the end no matter how impossible it may seem. And even if his plan changes due to circumstances, he will still claim it as his main objective. This is mainly seen as his first and foremost motive is to take over Tsuna's body to destroy the Vongola and take over the world. Even as he himself became a member of the Vongola, those close to him became entwined and friends with other members and he goes out of his way to assist them on multiple occasions he still states with full confidence that he still intends to carry out his plan of world domination even though his actions say otherwise. Once again showing his contradictory nature and leaving people to wonder if he really means it or if he just doesn't want people to think he's gone soft.

Arrogant and egotistical, Mukuro never considers losing an option. His optimism is born from unending confidence and arrogance that his plans will always follow through without a flaw and even if there's a minor crack in them he usually has a back up plan or two to fall back on or at the very least a last resort. He claims to have gained all of his knowledge from passing through the six realms and gaining powers from each, more than likely an experience he went through while being a test subject as a child when he first got his powers, and uses this as an excuse as to why it's impossible to beat him. He's also not only a sore loser but highly competitive as well and when a strong opponent presents itself he believes he should be the one to fight them and even if a plan is devised that says otherwise he has no issues ignoring the plan to simply do whatever he wants and follow his own plan.

» EXSILIUM INFORMATION
Chosen WEAPON: Trident, specifically the one Mukuro's had since he was a child in canon. It's able to be broken apart into pieces for easy storing and so the head of it can be used on it's own when necessary. As it grows with him, it'll be able to be summoned to his hand without barely a thought. The more it grows, the further distance it can be summoned from as it'll know when he needs it most. In addition it'll also be able to extend itself to different lengths, smaller without having to be broken down into different parts and longer when the need calls for it.

Character INVENTORY: Vongola Mist ring, Mist Owl ring, trident in a bag

First PERSON: Kufufu...

[The video cuts on to show a boy in his mid teens giving a small laugh and a smile as he leans back in a chair, the light from behind him casting a shadow that almost makes his silhouette look somewhat like a pineapple if one were to pay enough attention.]

Transports... Such an interesting term for us. I see many of you have made yourselves at home here. It seems rather easy to do, what with the accommodations given to us so freely. I wonder, have any of you had doubts of the Initiatives motives? That perhaps there's something more unseemly below the surface you've yet to catch? I wonder... It really is rare to find such an organization that is so willing with their information, I've known some who have fed false reports simply for the sake of gaining trust.

[He personally gets the feeling that may not be the case here, but it's interest to see if others have seeds of doubt already planted or if their will so so easily swayed by simple suggestions.]

For those of you who don't believe this, and even for those of you who do, tell me. Why do you fight? What do you possibly have to gain from lending your assistance? Because most people have their own motives, even if they believe they're doing something out of the goodness of their hearts. It's only human, after all.

[That brings to mind another question, something far more interesting.]

On that note, how many of you aren't even human at all? I find it hard to believe with how random their choices seem to be that humankind were the only ones they were able to pick up along the way.

Third PERSON: Mukuro had always been a boy with an open mind, knowing first hand that there was more to things than what appeared on the surface. It wasn't hard to believe in what others would deem impossible, no, he was one who made the impossible possible. His dear Chrome had been taken out of his reach to a strange world, and now it would seem it was his turn. Only there were no mafia to blame for this, no ulterior motives or mixed messages. No one from his known world to blame. Simply a prison island originally, the remains of a rebel force who refused to bow down to this new corrupt government that had taken over. He'd never been one to abide to authority very well, but that wasn't what he had seen in that compound following that woman around. There were choices, choices and a call for help against something they couldn't take down on their own. And it was the knowledge that he knew to be true, that he was aware if he had been in this world he could have very well been one of those who became the Initiative. It all made perfect sense, which is why he wore his usual smile as the woman led him around once his initial confusion had been cleared up.

Of course there was more he wished to know, more to be found. To see the world for himself was a necessity, and he supposed that's where Mukurou would come in handy. He could simply send the owl out to survey this island, find out if what was said was really true about it before deciding if he wanted to risk his box weapon going even further to have a look at this Unified Earth. Another time, perhaps. Once he became more accustomed to this world and what could be expected outside the borders of this island. All in all, it was a lot to plan for and even more to take in. His mind had just been absorbing it's newly gained memories from the future, trying to sort through what had happened to him and yet not him, and now with all this added onto it there were a lot of factors that could dictate his next move. The only sure thing was that for now, he was willing to go along with this Initiative and see just what they wished him to do. Further plans could be made along the way, he'd always been good at coming up with things as he went. A necessary trait when dealing with with the ever changing Vongola family after all, especially one Hibari Kyoya.

He chuckled to himself, leaning his head back to rest against the edge of the bed as he sat on the floor beside it. His trident was of course resting against his shoulder with one arm draped over it, and he took a moment to contemplate the potential behind it's claim. Of course, it would have made the most sense to choose Mukurou as the weapon that would grow with him as the owl was already sentient to a degree as far as he could tell. But it hadn't seemed right. It wasn't his owl, it was Chrome's. She was the one who believed in Tsunayoshi as the Vongola boss, the one who was friends with them and wished to help them. Despite the fact that it was Mukuro himself who was originally intended to be the Mist guardian, it didn't matter. They were one in the same, two sides of the same coin and even if Chrome had grown her own powers to be able to sustain herself without his help it didn't matter. The box weapon could be hers, the trident they shared. It would always be his choice, he had had it for far too long to even consider making any other decision despite the vast number of alternatives laid out for him. It had always seemed like a part of him, and apparently now it would be able to return that sentiment. Even if he felt he didn't need the additional training, perhaps attending those sessions would be in the best interest to train not himself but his weapon instead. It would certainly be a way to pass time while Mukurou gathers information about the world around them.

That much decided upon, he lets his gaze wander to the tablet resting on the table by his bed. There were others here, others like him who'd been randomly chosen by the Initiative to help. He had to wonder what their opinions were, did they take to rebels as he did or were they the lesser types who preferred government and laws be upheld at any costs. Or others he knew even, perhaps. There was really only one way to tell, though a quick glance over the network as a whole would be in order first. After all, one gathered the most information simply by watching from the mist.

» ADDITIONAL NOTES
The owl's name is Mukurou, a pun on the word "Fukurou" (owl) and Mukuro.
